How to use Jarvis
Everything from installation to shortcuts – step by step and without technical jargon. If you can’t find something, write to apoliak@apoliak.online.
Installation
Jarvis is an application for Windows 10 and 11. An ordinary computer with at least 8 GB of RAM is enough; 16 GB or more is more comfortable. I will do the installation for you, but you can also manage it on your own:
- Unzip the Jarvis zip file you received (e.g. into your Downloads folder).
- Double-click Nainstalovat.bat and confirm the Windows prompt once with “Yes”.
- Jarvis installs into
C:\Program Files\Jarvis, is added to the Start menu and the desktop, and starts with Windows. - Open Jarvis and carry on with the first launch below.
Tip: Jarvis keeps running quietly next to the clock, even after you close its window. Open the window by clicking its icon or with the Alt + J shortcut.
First launch and licence
- On first launch, type your name – this is how Jarvis will address you.
- Paste the licence key that starts with
JARVIS-(it arrives by e-mail after your order) and click Start Jarvis. - You can see what you have bought (plan, number of computers, extensions, validity) in Settings → Licence.
- 7 days before your licence ends, Jarvis shows a warning banner at the top.
- After the last paid day you still have 14 days to renew. After that Jarvis locks – your data stays on your computer, and once you enter a new key everything is back.
- You enter a new key (renewal, a different plan, an extension) under Settings → Licence → Paste a new key.
Demo version
The demo is a trial licence for 14 days. You see the whole of Jarvis in it, but some parts are locked – in their place you will see “In the full version”, and a banner at the top shows how many days are left.
Locked in the demo: Computer control, AI team, Call with Jarvis, Jarvis on the phone, Automation, Business, Owner overview, Calls and meetings to CRM, Windows, Security, Incognito and some work apps (for example Clients, Salesman, Price quote, Timesheet).
When you decide on the full version, just enter a new key – everything you did in the demo stays.
AI accounts
Jarvis has no AI subscription of its own – it uses yours and brings it all together in one window. Open AI accounts:
- ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini – click Sign in and log in with your own account. Jarvis remembers the login.
- Free AI (Google AI Studio, Groq, Mistral …) – Connect for free → create a key on the service’s website → paste it into Jarvis. Don’t add a payment card.
- Offline AI – a model right on your computer; see the next chapter.
Tip: Jarvis chooses which AI answers – paid accounts take priority, and when one hits its limit it moves on to the next available one. You can change this manually in the chat with the Model option.
Offline AI to suit your computer
Offline AI runs right on your computer – nothing goes out to the internet, it suits sensitive material and it works even without a connection. Jarvis looks at your RAM, graphics card and free disk space by itself and recommends the best model your computer can handle.
- Install the free Ollama application (ollama.com/download).
- In Jarvis, open AI accounts → Offline AI for this computer.
- Look at the recommended model and click Download. The download shows its progress; when it finishes, Jarvis starts using the model straight away.

Tip: On a laptop running on battery the graphics card is often switched off and the model runs on the processor only – answers are slower then. While you are gaming, you can switch the offline model off with the button in the top bar.
Chat and modes
Write to Jarvis as you would to a person. Below the message box there are options – leave them on Automatic and Jarvis will choose by itself:
- Mode – how Jarvis should think (Normal, Businessman, Lawyer, Critic, Teacher …). You choose it; Jarvis never changes it on its own.
- Way of working – chat, computer control, mail, project files.
- Depth – a quick answer or a thorough one with checking.
- Model and AI team – a specific AI or several AIs at once.

Tip: Add an image or a document with Ctrl + V or with the image icon. Your saved prompts are in Prompts.
- Open Mail and connect a mailbox – Gmail with a single sign-in, business mailboxes with an e-mail address and password (for Gmail with two-step verification, with an app password).
- Tell Jarvis “check my mail” – you get a summary with links.
- For any message, ask for a reply – Jarvis prepares a draft that you can see and edit before it is sent.
Tip: Jarvis never sends anything without your consent. Windows encrypts your passwords and the AI doesn’t receive them.
Tasks, calendar and reminders
- Tasks – your own boards with columns, due dates, labels, steps and repeating tasks. Add one quickly with a sentence such as “call the supplier tomorrow at 9 #work”.
- Calendar and Reminders – events and reminders with a Windows notification.
- The menu shows an overview of your day: mail, tasks, calendar and a morning summary.
Business, clients and Salesman
In the full version:
- Business – revenue and expenses by month, a monthly goal, what is waiting to be paid, and the status of your websites and certificates.
- Clients · CRM – jobs from first interest to payment, contacts and the next step.
- Salesman – reads your business mailboxes, adds leads to Clients and prepares a reply for your approval.
Voice and dictation
- Dictation – hold a key and speak into any window. Transcription runs offline on your computer.
- Call with Jarvis (full version) – the phone icon in the chat: you speak and Jarvis answers aloud.
- Meeting minutes – record a meeting and you get a transcript, a summary and tasks.

Jarvis on your phone
In the full version: chat, mail, tasks and approvals on your phone over a private encrypted connection to your computer. You set it up in the Phone section (in the Business and Pro plans I set it up for you). The computer must be switched on.
Automation
In the full version: schedule work that Jarvis does on its own – a morning mail summary, website checks, a weekly report. Just write what and when, e.g. “every Monday at 8:00 summarise my mail from the weekend”. Tasks that need your approval wait for you.
Business extensions
Companies can buy extensions (Owner overview, Calls and meetings to CRM, Invoices and reminders, Documents from mail …). A new licence key switches them on – nothing needs reinstalling. The overview and prices are on the For business page.
Updates, data and backups
- All your data is on your computer in
%APPDATA%\Jarvis. Only what you send to your chosen AI goes out to the internet. - You receive a new version as a zip – run Nainstalovat.bat again and your data stays.
- When you change computers, I will move Jarvis together with its data (the Jarvis transfer to a new computer service).
When something isn’t working
The AI isn’t answering
Open AI accounts and check your sign-in and limits. When a subscription is used up, Jarvis moves on to the next account or to a free AI.
Mail won’t connect
For Gmail with two-step verification you need an app password (Google Account → Security → App passwords). For a business mailbox, check the e-mail address and password.
The offline model is slow
On battery only the processor does the computing – plug in the charger. If the model is too big for your computer, AI accounts will recommend a smaller one.
Something is locked
In the demo, some parts are available only in the full version. When your licence ends, Jarvis locks; your data stays – enter a new key.
Jarvis won’t start
Restart your computer. If that doesn’t help, write to me – I’ll help you remotely.
